Meet your Coach
I’m Jake, a ballroom and Latin dance instructor based in the Tigard–Portland area, specializing in American Smooth, American Rhythm, and International Style Latin. I began my professional dance career in 2010 and continue to train and compete while helping students build strong, confident movement on and off the dance floor.
I work with dancers of all levels—from beginners looking for a fun way to stay active to students preparing for ballroom and Latin dance competitions. I regularly teach group classes and private dance lessons in Tigard and collaborate with local studios for showcases and events throughout the Portland metro area.
My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where students feel confident dancing socially, performing, or training for competition.
