Wednesday Workshops: American Smooth Tango
American Smooth Waltz Workshops (Wednesdays)
Take your American Smooth Tango beyond basic patterns and into the movement, control, and dramatic expression that make this dance so captivating.
This intermediate–advanced bronze workshop series is designed for dancers looking to sharpen technique, improve partnering skills, and build stronger floorcraft and musicality in a focused group setting. Each week will progressively develop the mechanics and styling needed to create a more confident and dynamic Tango.
Topics include:
Grounded movement and foot precision
Contra body movement and shaping
Lead & follow communication
Tango musicality and dramatic expression
Direction changes and traveling actions
Silver-level preparation concepts
Whether you’re preparing for social dancing, showcases, or future silver-level work, this series is built to help you move with more clarity, confidence, and character.
Wednesdays in January, 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
